# ShapingQR

> ShapingQR (https://shapingqr.com) is a free QR code generator for things you print. It makes static and dynamic QR codes, checks every design before download the way a phone camera would read it, and shows scan counts for dynamic codes. There is no paid plan, no trial and no scan limit.

## Facts
- Price: free. No paid plan exists today.
- Dynamic codes: you can change where a code points after it is printed. They keep working until you pause or delete them; nothing expires them over time. A code goes live once the owner's email is verified.
- Scans: no scan cap and no scan rate limit.
- Deleted codes can be restored for 30 days, then they are purged.
- Print check: before download, ShapingQR decodes the design and flags low contrast, overly dense codes and logos that break scanning.
- Code types: website/URL, Wi-Fi, contact (vCard), event, email, phone, SMS, plain text, location, social links, app link. Wi-Fi, email, phone, SMS and text codes are static (they cannot be edited after printing).
- Not supported yet: PDF or file upload.
